New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world. I was lucky enough to enjoy some of the great things it has to offer. From gorgeous views, unique restaurants, beautiful gardens, and art everywhere. I have put together a guide to some of the Best Instagram Spots in New York. Some of them are popular locations and some of them are incredibly unique if you are feeling a little adventurous.

Location: There is a pedestrian walkway on Tillary Street and Boerum Place the second way to access it is via the underpass on Washington Street, a few blocks from Front Street (when in doubt use Google Maps).
This is a very unique spot since you can see the Empire State Building in between the arches of the Manhattan Bridge. The buildings around it help frame the photo for a must-have photo op.
Tip: Make sure to catch the Empire State Building Peaking through the arches of the Manhattan Bridge.
Location: 39-21 Washington St, Brooklyn, NY 11201
The entryway to the Nomo Hotel is very eye-catching. Its surrounded by greenery to highlight the archway. The restaurant Nomo Kitchen is very beautiful and worth checking out too.
Location: 9 Crosby St, New York, NY 10013
The Color Factory is a multisensory exhibit with 16 interactive installations with plenty of photo ops.
Location: 251 Spring St, New York, NY 10013
This restaurant is PINK! I mean who doesn’t like a little color. Plus it has some adorable hearts on the door next door.
Tip: Check out both sides of the entryway. Also, When I went it was a little colder so the covering seen on the photo may or may not be there based on the weather.
Location: 174 Elizabeth St, New York, NY 10012
This is one of the most famous places in New York. Although, as a New Yorker you try to avoid this area at all costs. It’s worth mentioning because its such a part of the city.
Location: Times Square
Vessel Hudson Yards
This is a new addition to New York. It was built as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. It is a honeycomb-like structure that is 16 stories and consists of 2,500 steps and 80 places for visitors to climb. Admission is free but make sure you book a time to visit.
Tip: Try to go on a day that is not windy because it gets cold! (We went on a windy day)

Brooklyn Bridge Park
This Park has a great view of New York City, it’s also close to a couple of other Instagrammable places mentioned.
Tip: All the places I have mentioned are better early in the morning so you can beat the crowds. However, if you do happen to get here at a busy time as I did. I have added a tip on how to remove people and objects from photos if you would like to check it out on @newlydevary (story highlights). The photo above has about 4 or 5 people removed to make it less crowded.
Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park
Jane’s Carousel is a good place to check out with children or if you are a child at heart. This Carosoul has 48 handcrafted from 1922. I can really appreciate this classic treasure it looks so colorful in photos.
Mural at Kenmore & Mott Street
The mural area on Kenmore and Mott street has had a variety of great temporary murals. You never know what you will find. Below is a couple I have seen in the past five years.
Tip: I recommend checking this location on Google Maps to see what is the current display.

The Whitney Museum
The Whitney Museum is sure to have something for everyone. The Whitney focuses on twentieth Century Contemporary art. One of my favorite part parts about this museum is the outdoors area which often times features cool sculptures, not to mention the view.

Museum of Illusions

There are different Banksy’s located around New York. This is one of the murals located throughout the city. One of the things that make New York amazing is finding hidden gems like this.
Location: Designer Shoe Warehouse at 79th Street and Broadway
This is a beautiful enchanting garden located in the Met Cloisters. This site truly transports you to medieval times.

If you are feeling adventurous you can head over to Queens. The Unisphere is located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. If you are going to the US Open it will be a short walk away.

Storm King Art Center
Tip: This location is weather permitting so make sure to check the forecast. The best and busiest time to visit is in the spring and fall.

New York Botanical Garden
The New York Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful places in New York City. It has so many beautiful flowers to check out and they often feature one of a kind exhibits like Chihuly and Frida Kahlo.
Tip: Check out their calendar to see if there are special exhibitions going on. Also, they have annual events like the Orchid Exhibit and Christmas.
