I want to share my top 5 Sephora must-haves since they are having a big Sale in August.
It Cosmetics – Secret Sauce: I love the way this moisturizer feels. Especially in the summer, it’s so lightweight!
Tip: Apply skin products like moisturizer and let them soak in your skin for about 15 minutes. I usually do my eye makeup during this time. Waiting to apply primer and foundation has improved the way my makeup looks and feels.
Kevyn Aucoin – The Etherealist Super Natural Concealer: I know a lot of people rave about Tarte’s Shape Tape concealer but I actually found it to be too heavy. Maybe I didn’t get the right color? Anyways, I love that this concealer is moisturizing and doesn’t feel dry at all. I does a good job covering under eyes. I will say that being a mom, I think it’s hard for them to completely go away. If you have one you think is better, please share.
Color: Medium Warm Peach
Marc Jacobs – Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner: This is the best eyeliner for someone that needs a pencil that will not smear. I blink a lot and tend to get raccoon eyes. This pencil is different because it doesn’t get all over the place. It’s very easy to apply and has the convenience of not needing a pencil sharpener. Definitely, recommend!
SuperGoop! – Unseen Sunscreen Broad SpectrumSPF 40: This is an absolute must for me. I have hyperpigmentation so I have to protect my skin from the sun. Aside from wearing hats whenever I can, I use Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. I use it as a primer since it works great under makeup giving you a dewy look. Matte primers tend to make my skin/face look wrecked haha.
SuperGoop! – Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45: I use this when I’m on the go and need to reapply sunscreen. It’s a lightweight powder that you can put on while you are on the go. I keep it in my purse for whenever I need it. The one I use also has a little tint to it so it can cover up as the day goes by.
*I added this as a bonus in case you prefer not to put sunscreen under your makeup.
Peter Thomas Roth – Cucumber De-Tox: I saved the best for last. This is my all-time favorite item from Sephora and Peter Thomas Roth. These patches are a good pick me up when your under-eyes need some help asap! They are so hydrating and refreshing. Considering the cost, they come out to about $1.73 per set. Most individual eye patches start at $5 a set so this is a great deal.
