Jane’s Carousel

Jane’s Carousel

Janes Carousel is a beautiful staple of Brooklyn Bridge Park. It features 48 hand carved horses from 1922. Its located right by the waters so it’s really a sight to see.

Whether you are a New Yorker or a visitor with or without kids, you should check it out. After all most of us are a kid at heart.

My husband and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather last weekend and went for a drive from Manhattan to Brooklyn New York. We arrived at Jane’s Carousel around 2:30 pm. We were happy the line wasn’t too bad. We only waited for two rides to complete and that was it. I always recommend arriving early if you want to beat the crowds. New York has a lot of wonderful things to enjoy but along with that comes waiting if you do not arrive promptly. After our ride we wandered along the beautiful prominade where you can see Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. While we were here we started to notice a long line forming for the carousel, so just wanted to mention that as a tip.

The Brooklyn Bridge was a nice backdrop
